Low Down on Printing This class will cover the fundamentals of printing starting with a discussion on choosing the right paper surface for your particular image and how that decision affects the overall look. From there we will move to the computer and explore monitor calibration, printer profiles and driver settings. Using the X-Rite I1Studio, we will calibrate a monitor and develop custom ICC profiles to produce prints accurately. Students will leave the class with a deeper understanding of the fine art print both technically and creatively.
